The Delta Dental Race To The Top Of Vermont is a fundraiser for one of the coolest non-profits in Vermont – The Catamount Trail Association. The CTA staff and board organize the Race To The Top, and the proceeds raised support their efforts to protect and preserve the Catamount Trail while also creating opportunities for people to get outside, have fun, and be active during the winter months.

In addition to managing the trail corridor, the Catamount Trail Association organizes a variety of backcountry clinics, tours, and community events, and facilitates youth ski programs that help 2,000 students from schools across Vermont get out on Nordic skis during the winter! We want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy winter and all of the great experiences it provides.

What is the Catamount Trail? The Catamount Trail is a 300+ mile backcountry ski trail that runs the entire length of Vermont from Massachusetts to the Canadian border. It’s free to use and is one of Vermont’s most unique recreational assets. From easy cruising through the woods to exhilarating descents in neck-deep powder, there’s something for everyone on the Catamount Trail.

So, if you’re interested in challenging yourself, and want to support the Catamount Trail Association and the good work that they do, come join us at Race To The Top Of Vermont!
